การเตรียมตัวก่อนเข้ารับการตรวจ
- สามารถรับประทานอาหารและดื่มน้ำได้ปกติ
สำหรับคุณผู้ชาย
- ควรเก็บน้ำอสุจิในขณะที่สุขภาพร่างกายปกติ ควรงดเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์และงดสูบบุหรี่ก่อนเข้ารับการตรวจ
- ควรงดเว้นการหลั่งน้ำอสุจิอย่างน้อย 2 วันแต่ไม่เกิน 7 วัน หากมีการหลั่งอสุจิมาก่อนการตรวจจะส่งผลให้ปริมาณน้ำอสุจิและปริมาณสเปิร์มลดน้อยลง ส่วนการงดเว้นการหลั่งนานเกินไปจะทำให้มีจำนวนอสุจิที่ไม่เคลื่อนไหวหรือตายเพิ่มขึ้น
สำหรับคุณผู้หญิง
- สามารถตรวจภายในหลังมีประจำเดือนไปแล้ว 1-2 สัปดาห์
- สำหรับผู้ที่มีปัญหาตกขาวผิดปกติ ไม่แนะนำให้สอดยาเพื่อรักษาก่อนมาตรวจภายใน เพราะจะทำให้ยาค้างอยู่ในช่องคลอด ทำให้ตรวจภายในไม่ได้
- งดการมีเพศสัมพันธ์ก่อนตรวจภายในเป็นเวลาอย่างน้อย 24-48 ชั่วโมง เพราะอาจส่งผลต่อการตรวจภายในได้
