Steps of Invisalign Clear Aligner Treatment

1. Consultation with the Dentist  Discuss with the dentist to assess your dental concerns. X-rays and treatment planning will be done collaboratively with the patient.

2. Oral Preparation
Before scanning, oral health must be cleared — this includes procedures like scaling (cleaning), filling cavities (if any), and extracting necessary wisdom teeth to prepare for aligners.

3. 3D Scanning with iTero
A 3D scan of your teeth using the “iTero” device allows patients to preview their post-treatment results. This is particularly useful for Invisalign and enables the dentist to simulate a fully customized treatment plan. The 3D model provides clarity, speed, and a shared treatment goal.

4. Review 3D Treatment Plan (“ClinCheck”)
View the animated 3D plan called “ClinCheck” to evaluate tooth movements, the number of aligner sets, and the expected outcome. Once confirmed, aligners will be produced.

5. Attachment Placement & Aligner Use
Small tooth-colored “attachments” are placed on specific teeth to help move them more effectively. Patients wear each set of Invisalign aligners both day and night, removing them only when brushing teeth, eating, or drinking.

6. Regular Check-ups
Visit the dentist every 2–3 months to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments.

7. Dental Cleaning
Have your teeth professionally cleaned (scaling and polishing) every 5–6 months.

8. Post-treatment Retention
After completing the treatment, wear a retainer to maintain your new tooth alignment and preserve your beautiful smile long-term.

Is Invisalign Time-Consuming?

The duration depends on the condition and complexity of each case. On average, treatment takes about 1–2 years, which is approximately 30% faster than traditional metal braces. However, this can vary based on individual oral health and dental structure. Regular visits every 6–8 weeks are recommended to monitor progress and switch to the next aligner set, each of which gradually moves the teeth to their desired position.

5. Valid for outpatient (OPD) services and clients who are able to take care of themselves only.

6. The program does not include clinic service fees or the cost of the COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test prior to service (conditions are subject to change).

7. The program does not include the cost of additional medication prescribed by the doctor.
